Mid-term elections most expensive ever
Mid-term elections are slated to be the most expensive in US history.
According to the Center for Responsive Politics, candidates, parties and advocacy groups will spend $2.6 billion dollars on races across the country. Three-quarters of the total spending will come from business groups.
