The Bush administration is preparing to build a military base near Iraq’s border with Iran, a new poll found a majority of Iraqis believe the so-called troop surge has failed, seven multi-national soldiers were killed and 11 injured in a traffic accident in western Baghdad Monday, the Iraqi Sunni Party ended its parliamentary boycott on Saturday declaring their ‘demands met,’ and Gen. David H. Petraeus reported that President Bush’s surge strategy of sending 30,000 extra troops to Iraq should be reversed by next summer.
