China and France to work together on climate change

China and France signed a bilateral pact to fight against climate change together.

China and France “recognize the impact of climate change for the survival and development of humanity and recognise the importance and the urgency to fight against climate change and to put in place sustainable development,” said the agreement.

The two countries will strengthen cooperation on a variety of climate change-related environmental issues, including biodiversity, desertification and pollution.
